Chalet / Static Caravan Occupiers

1. Booking & Payment 2. Cancellation
Any booking/reservation received and paid for represents a contract between the park owners and customer/s, binding each to the following conditions. Unless otherwise agreed, all balances due must be paid by four weeks before arrival at the latest, or on booking of the arrival date is less than four weeks from the booking date. Please note this is non-refundable after 4 weeks before the booked arrival date, and we advise taking out your own insurance in case of need to cancel your booking once payment has been made.
While every effort will be made by the park owners to fulfil the contract, except where stated in these Conditions, the park owners shall not be liable for any changes, cancellations, effect on your holiday, loss or damage suffered by you or for any failure by us to properly perform any of our obligations to you which is due to any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control, for example including fire, flood, exceptional weather conditions, epidemics, destruction or damage to the property by any cause and all similar situations. 
No compensation, expenses, costs or any sums of any description will be payable in such circumstances by us to you.
All holiday home bookings must be paid in full by four weeks before arrival at the latest, or on booking of the arrival date is less than four weeks from the booking date. Should you need to change the dates of your booking we will endeavour to meet your needs subject to availability, without charge unless the new dates are priced higher in which case the additional charge must be paid by you.
3. Conduct
Guests have the use of Auchnahillin Caravan & Camping Park (hereafter ‘the park’), its property and facilities only by our permission. Behaviour we deem inappropriate or any breach of these Conditions may result in termination of permission without compensation. We ask that due consideration is given to other guests and neighbours at all times, particularly during the hours of darkness when noise should please be kept to a minimum.
4. Times 5. What’s Included?
Chalet/static caravan holiday home hire is from 3.00pm on the day of arrival to 10.00 am on the day of departure. Please inform us in advance if you expect to arrive after 6pm or depart before 9am. All utilities (gas, electric, water) are included, as are bedding, linen and towels unless you prefer to bring your own in which case please let us know at least 7 days in advance of arrival or on booking if later. There is no reduction in charge.
Travel cot/s and high chair/s are available at £10 & £5 each per booking respectively.
6. Dogs 7. Drying
Up to two dogs are welcome in some of our caravans - please mention your dog/s when booking. 

Dogs are permitted on the understanding that they will never be left unattended in the holiday home or anywhere else on the park, their own bedding (and preferably a cage) and food bowls etc will be brought and used, they will not be allowed on any furniture nor in the bedrooms of the holiday home, they will be kept on leads under proper control at all times when outside on the park, they will not be allowed in the children’s play area at any time, and any fouling cleared up immediately and disposed of appropriately.  

No Dangerous Dogs or apparently aggressive dogs of other breeds will be allowed. The dog is the responsibility of its owner at all times, and no responsibility will be taken by the park owners for any damage caused by it.
Please do not erect or use clotheslines around or between holiday homes or trees. A tumble dryer and clotheslines/drying frames are provided.
8. Accidents / Injuries
Sustained on the Park must be reported to the park owners at the time of occurrence, and the details recorded in the Park’s Accident Book.
9. Liability
The park will not be liable for any loss or damage occasioned to any vehicle or belongings, nor for any injury whatsoever to any person whilst on the park, unless caused directly by the negligence of an employee. Customers are wholly liable for any repairs/cleaning required to any park property damaged during their stay.
10. Vehicles 11. General
Strictly genuine holidaymakers only please; sorry NO vans or commercial vehicles, workers or residentialFire regulations allow only one car per holiday home pitch. Additional vehicles must be parked on the area provided. The maximum speed limit on the park is 5mph. Vehicles must be roadworthy and in good condition. No washing or repairs (including oil changing) are permitted on site. We the park owners retain the right to enter any holiday home at any reasonable time if deemed necessary by us. No open fires are allowed on the park, nor barbecues not on stands. Please refrain from playing ball games in the vicinity of caravans or other vehicles or buildings. We reserve the right to vary these conditions at our discretion.

Tourers and Campers

1. Booking & Payment 2. Cancellation
Strictly holidaymakers only - no commercial vehicles / workers / traders. Bookings are particularly advisable for July and August. For July / August bookings a deposit of £10 per part week or £25 per week may be required on booking. All balances due must be paid on arrival by cash or credit / debit card. We reserve the right to refuse any bookings or custom. 

Except where expressly stated in these Conditions, we shall not be liable for any changes, cancellations, effect on your holiday, loss or damage suffered by you or for any failure by us to properly perform any of our obligations to you which is due to any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control, including fire, flood, weather conditions, epidemics, destruction or damage to the property by any cause and all similar situations. 

No compensation, expenses, costs or any sums of any description will be payable in such circumstances by us to you. Payment terms as detailed above.
Should you need to cancel a reservation please let us know as soon as possible before the intended arrival date so your pitch may be reallocated.

Upon termination you must leave within 15 minutes or risk prosecution. We ask that due consideration is given to other guests and neighbours at all times.
4. Noise 5. Pitches
Please have consideration for other guests and neighbours, particularly during the hours of darkness. The use of generators or any other system which produces noise at any level is not permitted. Touring & camping pitches are hired from 12 noon on the day of arrival to 12 noon on the day of departure. Let us know if you are likely to arrive after 6pm. Please call at Reception on arrival, before taking a pitch. If you wish to extend your stay please contact Reception asap or before 10am on the booked departure day.

Dogs are permitted on the understanding that they will never be left unattended anywhere on the park, will be kept on a lead under proper control at all times when outside on the park, will not be allowed in the children’s play area at any time, and any fouling cleared up immediately and disposed of appropriately.

For touring/camping units is from a 10 Amp (peak) supply. Please note that this is suitable for travel/low wattage appliances, not domestic or high consumption units. 
We cannot permit the use of electric heaters, central heating or air-conditioning units etc.. During busy periods the supply will be reduced, so please keep usage to a minimum.

General guide to approx. average amperage of electrcal appliances: (1kW/1000W appliance uses 4.2 amps approx.) Portable TV: B&W 50 watts, 0.2 amps; Colour: 90 watts 0.4 amps; Microwave: 600 watts, 2.5 amps; Lightbulb: 60 watts, 0.25 amps; Small Fridge: 125 watts, 0.5 amps; Kettle:Travel 600 watts, 2.5 amps; Kettle:Domestic 2200 watts, 9.2 amps!!!
8. Park Tags 9. Drying
If you are issued with a tag when checking in, please display it in the front window of your caravan/motorhome, or at the entrance to your tent. Please do not erect clothes lines around or between touring units or trees. A tumble dryer and clothes lines are provided. Drying frames may be suspended from windows.

Customers are responsible for any equipment they bring onto the park, which must be in good condition.

We reserve the right to amend these Conditions at our discretion.
