Welcome to this friendly and informal family run caravan and camping park of about 10 acres, set in a tranquil glen with fine views of the surrounding forests, hills and heather moors, yet conveniently located only 8 miles south of Inverness, with several other popular destinations being within an easy drive. Auchnahillin is also on the number 7 cycle route.

In the heart of the Highlands, Auchnahillin caravan and camping park provides a convenient base for touring the region, being close to many attractions and amenities, and is ideally situated for many pursuits or just a relaxing break in the countryside close to nature. Half an hour's drive takes you to the atmospheric eastern shore of world-famous Loch Ness via the village of Dores with its shingle loch-side beach (find out more at South Loch Ness here ).

Capital of the Highlands, Inverness, is easily accessible within a 15 minute drive and offers all the benefits of a modern city including excellent facilities for shopping, eating out and entertainment. You can combine shopping with sightseeing and a relaxing stroll along the banks of the River Ness to Ness Islands. At Auchnahillin caravan and camping park we currently have available to rent a choice of 10 static caravan holiday homes - with 2 bedrooms to accommodate up to 4 people, or 3 bedrooms for up to 6 people - and one 2-bedroom chalet. Most single beds are on the narrow side, so are more suited to children than adults.

We also have 45 pitches for touring caravans / motorhomes and a separate camping ground for up to 30 tents, all on flat well drained ground. Electric hook-ups are available for low consumption / travel appliances. Sorry, no electric heaters or other high usage appliances.

Caravan park facilities include an informative reception area, small shop, children's play area and an amenities block with dishwashing and laundry facilities as well as showers, toilets, hairdryers and a disabled / parent & baby room.
